What to do if your order still doesn't arrive?

Is the protection period coming to an end and your order has still not arrived? We have prepared a short guide for you on what to do in such a case.

1. Track your shipment

See where your shipment is located. You can do this via the Track order button you see in the picture or using the tracking number from the seller. You can read more about tracking shipments in our How to Track shipments from Aliexpress. If you find that the tracking number is invalid, it may also be due to the traffic the company needs 3-7 days to update the shipping status. However, this should only happen at the beginning ordering time. In any case, you can contact the seller for more information about the shipment.

2. Contact the dealer

When ordering, you see another button with a yellow envelope, and that is Contact Seller. If you are in a hurry to order or you are afraid that it will expire protection period, so contact the seller. Ask him about the status of your order. For example, the seller may extend your protection period.

Did you know that...

Aliexpress has added to the new rules that you can open a dispute for another 15 days after the end of the protection period. So, even if you forget to extend the protection deadline so you can still open a dispute.

3. Open the dispute

Open Dispute if:

  • the seller is not communicating with you and you can see that the order is not moving
  • the end of the protection period is approaching

When you open a dispute, you will be protected and you will not lose your money. And if during the time the complaint is settled Your order will arrive, so you can cancel the dispute. We definitely recommend that you admit that the shipment has arrived. Aliexpress sees in the system that you have taken over the order. Unfair, you risk permanently canceling your Aliexpress account.

4. Solve everything through Aliexpress

Sometimes the seller will offer you a refund to your PayPal account and ask you to cancel the dispute. In no case do we recommend this variant. Because once you cancel the dispute, you no longer have any leverage on the seller and it goes beyond Aliexpress.
